508 Wind Sensor for Triton, IS20 & IS40 Systems without Cable The Triton 508 Wind Sensor is a high performance wind speed and angle sensor derived from our Grand Prix level sensor to provide accurate wind angle and speed data relied upon by sailors.

Description

B&G 508 (replacement for 608) wind sensor

The 508 Wind Sensor developed for the B&G Triton range provides full backwards compatibility with existing Simnet/NMEA2000-based systems.

To achieve complete backwards compatibility, the Wind Sensor incorporates the mast bracket previously used on the IS20 wind vane making the two sensors 100% interchangeable.

The 508 Wind Sensor utilizes ocean-race proven components from Simrad Yachting’s sister brand B&G for the ultimate in accuracy and durability.

The sensor is fully field serviceable. Spare parts for wind vane, wind cups, wind speed bearings etc. are already available from inventory as per the B&G 213 and Vertical Mast Head Units.
