Refund Policy

Move Marine ApS (“Move Marine,” “we,” “us,” “our”) operates in accordance with:

  • Danish Consumer Contracts Act (Forbrugeraftaleloven)

  • Danish Sale of Goods Act (Købeloven)

  • Council Directive 2011/83/EU on Consumer Rights

  • Council Directive 2006/112/EC (Margin VAT Scheme provisions)

1. Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers Only)

  • Consumers residing in the EU/EEA have 14 calendar days from the day after receiving goods to notify us of withdrawal.

  • Notice must be sent to sales@movemarine.dk before returning goods.

  • Exceptions:

    • Custom-made or personalized items

    • Sealed goods (software, PPE) that have been opened

    • Goods liable to deteriorate rapidly

Non-EU Clients: Purchases are considered final unless otherwise agreed in writing. No statutory withdrawal right applies.

2. B2B Sales

For business-to-business sales, returns are only accepted by prior written agreement.

3. Condition of Returns

  • Goods must be unused, undamaged, in original packaging, with all manuals, accessories, and documents.

  • Deductions may apply for damage or excessive handling.

4. Restocking Fee

A 20% restocking fee applies to all eligible returns due to buyer’s remorse or incorrect ordering.

5. Return Shipping

Unless goods are defective or incorrectly supplied, the buyer pays return shipping.

6. VAT Treatment on Refunds

Goods sold under the EU Margin VAT Scheme (Momsloven §§69–71) have VAT included in the total price but not deductible by the buyer. Refunds will be made on the gross price paid (minus applicable fees), without VAT itemization.
Non-EU Clients: No EU VAT applies; local taxes/duties may be payable upon import and are non-refundable by us.

7. Refund Timeline

Refunds are processed within 14 days of receipt (or proof of return), using the original payment method.
